For 5 days – July 13-17 – the little gallery on Main Street, Arts Underground, sets up an outdoor experience called  Arts Up Front  on the Whitehorse Waterfront Wharf. It brings together visual artists and performers from across the Yukon.  Artists demonstrate and offer workshops before the backdrop of the mighty Yukon River, with live music, children’s activities, a pop-up art gallery. This year we partnering with Breakdancing Yukon, who kicks off its annual Cypher Fest with dance battles Friday and Saturday evenings alongside our tents. Festival access is free and open to the public.

Check out our Program to view the complete list of workshops, demonstrations, and performances.

See you there!

There’s fun for everyone in the family at Arts Up Front; here, kids check out the free Kids Craft Tent which is open throughout the festival.
